Angelica Palmer’s “The Cherry Valley Water Project” is a creative partnership between the people and the water of Cherry Valley, inviting a connection with the water and its history that offers a pathway to connect with one’s own emotions and stories. A walking map led visitors on an educational journey around Cherry Valley and a series of performing arts workshops took place over the summer, culminating in a site-specific experimental ensemble performance along the Cherry Valley Creek. An exhibition of art, photos, and stories from the community about Cherry Valley Water was held at 25 Main Collective following the performance.

Angelica “Dzeli” Palmer is a social practice interdisciplinary artist exploring the connections within ourselves, with each other, and with nature through song, dance, and storytelling rooted in the earth.
