Bonnie Gale has been a willow artist and teaching artist for the past 41 years. She has taught in hundreds of venues across the United States and Canada. She is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Artist Fellowship and has been on the Martha Stewart Show. In 2004, she started designing and building living willow structures and has completed over 50 structures to date. In 2022, she started building willow caskets for the green burial movement.
