Michale Glennon’s canoe project aims to portray community values and communicate the things that are so deeply appreciated about the lakes and ponds at the heart of her Adirondack community. A canoe was knitted to represent each category or community value, and was photographed in one of the local lakes.
“Knitted and felted canoes represent each category and are photographed in one of the local lakes, providing a unique data set of what this community holds dear about their place.”
