Combining her love for painting and writing, artist Rachel Dickinson selected ten homes in her village to create portraits of. The people who live in the homes, work in the buildings, or own the land, were all interviewed for the project: fictional essays were then written to accompany each painting that incorporated their voices as well as historical voices.
Rachel’s project culminated with a solo show held at the Freeville Literary Society.
